Horizon Spain Tour
In July 2024, Horizon embarked on a 10-day performance tour around Spain, which included the world premiere performance of the commissioned work The Twelve Labors of Hercules in Llíria, a UNESCO City of Music, as part of the annual Edeta Arts Festival; and performances of their own repertoire from the 2023-24 season at the annual Las Navas del Marqués International Music Festival, which took place in the medieval walled city of Ávila. The choir also performed in churches in Alforja and Barcelona.
Between performances, the choir collaborated with local choirs and composers in informal settings, visited sites and monuments around the country, and gained an appreciation of Spanish culture and the central role that music plays in daily life.
